But who is Mama?
Mama Creative Group is run under the creative eye of Sarah Cavalier.
After topping her VCE graphic design class at Wesley College and receiving the Premiers Award for being one of the top five students in the state, it was pretty clear which career direction Sarah was going to take.
She graduated from Monash University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Art – Graphic Design (now known as the Bachelor of Design – Visual Communication).
After spending 2 years learning the ropes in a boutique St Kilda design studio, her clients and co-workers were already telling her she had all the skills to go out on her own. So that’s just what she did… and Grizzle Design was born.
A mother of two kids, in 2014 when Sarah moved back to Bayside Melbourne following the end of her marriage, she started MamaMag, our free magazine for mums in their local area. On return to Bayside after 9 years away and having 2 kids under 4 in tow, she found little local knowledge available to mums locally and used this gap in the market to launch what is now an integral part of the Mama Creative Group.
